Tom Bechdel is a nationally recognized predator hunter from Saegertown, PA. With over 40 years of experience, Bechdel’s coyote expertise covers the life of the coyote, how to lure it with electric and mouth calls, and how best to bag this elusive predator.

Ron BrothersRon Brothers

Ron is an experienced and accomplished hunter from Sellersville, PA. Ron has hunted in 20 States, 5 Canadian Provinces, Mexico, and Africa. For the past 46 years, Ron has been turkey hunting and was the Lehigh Valley Turkey calling champion. Ron has taken the world slam of turkeys with a gun and needs an Osceola to have a Royal Slam with a bow.

Ron has taught hunter safety for years and has been published in numerous hunting magazines. In addition, Ron has been in a few television shows and hunting videos as well as being a seminar speaker for Cabela's.

Ron will be sharing some of his insights gained while Turkey hunting.

Lou Consoli

Touring bass pro Lou Consoli of Pennsylvania is no stranger to the high stakes game of tournament bass fishing. Lou has been competing at the highest level of competition in the sport since the early 90's. In 1995 Lou was approached by a local radio station in the Philadelphia market to host an outdoor radio show. Pro Tour USA's "On the Water" with Lou Consoli was born. Lou hosted a show every Sunday evening from 6-7pm to an audience of over 1.3 million people for two years. Over the years Lou has done the seminar circuits and has been written about in many newspapers & publications across the country like The Herald Democrat, North Penn Reporter, Allentown Morning Call, Philadelphia Inquire, Philadelphia Daily News, BASS Times and Bassmaster Magazine. He also has made several guest appearences on radio stations and was featured on the long time running  TV show "Sportsline" on Comcast Sports Cable Network.

Tim Freed

Tim is a Halley Caller Pro Staff Director, Hunter Education and Bowhunter Education Instructor, Youth hunter Education Challenge Co-Director and coach for 10 years.  Along with being a Wyoming Hunting Guide, Tim has 42 years of hunting experience in the US, Canada and Mexico.

Jerry McAwardJerry McAward

Jerry is the owner of the Northeast PA Kayak School.  Jerry is also an American Canoe Association ITE (Instructor Trainer Educator) in Whitewater Kayaking, a kayaking instructor for years, and an Instructor Trainer since 2001. He is past chairman of the ACA’s River Kayak Committee, a collection of some of the finest minds in the world of kayak instruction. The committee is responsible for development, review, and implementation of ACA courses for regular folks and for those seeking certification as kayaking instructors.

Jerry will be presenting introduction to Whitewater Kayaking.  You will learn the right way to get involved with this lifetime sport - it isn't as hard as it looks.  The rewards you gain are greater than you imagine!  You'll meet some kayaks, and hear of the methods used to build confidence, acquire skills, and maximize your fun.  The feeling of being on the river, in control, is nothing short of amazing.

Bob MurrayBob Murray

Bob is best known for being the host of the long running TV show called “Delaware Valley Outdoors”. Bob’s 30-year long career has been dedicated to sharing his fishing knowledge with others who love the outdoors. His career has taken him to print, radio, television, and the Internet.

Bob will be giving the long awaited and definitive seminar on “How to fish: Lake Nockamixon”. This popular central Bucks County Lake can be frustrating to anglers but Bob will take you through some of the best spots and tell you the secret to finding fish on this lake. If you fish for Bass, Walleye, Musky or Striped Bass on Lake Nockamixon, then this seminar is for you.

Tom Pirrone

Tom Pirrone is a Pastor at Calvary Church and is an avid outdoorsman.  Tom loves to fish with his son Ryan, especially in Canada, however you can often see him in Lake Galena casting a fly along the shore line.

One of Tom’s roles at Calvary Church is to help new people get integrated into the Church community.  Tom oversees the baptism and new members ministry at Calvary, in addition to being the lead on several key projects including the annual Outdoors Expo.  In Tom's seminar, he will provide a quick overview of Calvary for those interested in learning more about the church or what it means to be in a relationship with Jesus Christ.

Dieter Scheel

USCG licensed Master Captain, part-time Guide and owner of Big D RiverGuide, Dieter Scheel has fished local waters for over 40 years. Mr. Scheel enjoys fishing saltwater as well as fresh and he fishes local waters 12 months a year. Starting the year off by fishing for Muskie and Walleye and switching to Shad in mid March, Captain Dieter fishes for Striped Bass through late May, changing to Smallmouth, Walleye and schoolie Stripers through late fall. Fishing the Lambertville/New Hope area puts Captain Dieter into one of the most historic hot spots for Shad in the entire country. Over the last 15 years, he has developed a system of catching American Shad that is unique, and very successful. His RiverPro HiPro XT Jet Boat is outfitted with everything needed to make fishing on the Delaware River safe and comfortable. Captain Dieter’s presentation “Working the Spread” will cover everything you need to know to become successful at consistently catching shad from a boat. He will cover boat location, tackle and placement of baits so that anglers have a good base of knowledge to work from when they go after “the poor man’s Salmon”.

Shawn Secrest

Shawn Secrest is a native of Bucks County, with roots from Central PA, and has grown up hunting and fishing with his family. His obsessions with turkey hunting lead him into competitive turkey calling as well as a quest for a “Royal Slam.” Shawn began making turkey calls at a very early age and now operates Aggressive Game Calls. Shawn has used these calls to harvest turkeys all over the United States and Mexico! Shawn's business is a family operated business with the help from his wife Dawn and two sons Shane and Shawn.

Tim Smail

Tim Smail is the owner of PA Forestry and Wildlife Consultants, LLC, a PA based consulting firm whose clients include Federal, State, County, Municipal, University, Conservancy, and private land owners and managers. Mr. Smail is the founder of the PA Chapter of the Quality Deer Management Association, a board member of the PA Deer Association, co-founder and facilitator of the Chester County Deer Forum, and served as a member of the PA Game Commission's Deer Management Working Group. Mr. Smail is an Official Measurer for the Boone and Crockett Club, the Pope and Young Club, the National Muzzle Loading Rifle Association, and the North American Shed Hunters Club. Because of his experience with and understanding of whitetail behavior and management, he is a highly sought-after speaker and has conducted over eighty seminars and educational programs across PA each year for the past several years.

Diane Smith

Diane Smith is an Environmental Educator and Outreach Coordinator for Bucks County Audubon Society at Honey Hollow. Since retiring after 30 years in the pharmaceutical career with Merck and Co., Inc. in 2004, she embarked on her second career as a naturalist and teacher.  In this capacity she has shared her love of nature with people of all ages, teaching school field trips, helping scout troops earn badges, visiting senior centers, schools and other community groups with outreach programs and leading public programs.  In her workshop, Ms. Smith will discuss the impact of climate change on birds and bird migration.

Frank Smith

At an early age, Frank developed a curiosity with photography. His grandfather, Frank Fehn was an avid photographer, always with a camera in his hand and Frank by his side. He purchased a miniature replica 35 mm camera which was the beginning of Frank’s life-long passion for photography.

Frank is married with two grown children and works for NAI Summit, a commercial and industrial management and brokerage firm headquartered in Allentown. Photography is his passion – both in taking the pictures as well as the post processing techniques that he uses. Frank is an experienced traveler having had the opportunity to photograph the people and places of Kashmir and Southern India, Africa, Australia, Italy and many others. As a native of the northeast, he also enjoys the local scenery of the Pocono Mountains or urban decay and iconic subjects as well as historical sites such as the former Bethlehem Steel factory in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania. His portfolio is diverse.

Al WincoAl Winco

Al is a former tournament angler and retired landscape contractor. He currently manufactures and sells custom bass fishing lures. His passion is Smallmouth bass fishing – especially in moving water. Cold water lake fishing for Bronze monsters rates a close 2nd. Al really enjoys teaching and helping others how to understand seasonal patterns using his proven techniques for successful and exciting bass fishing results.

Sandra Yerger

For the past ten years, Sandra Yerger has been the Manager of Membership & Community Services for Heritage Conservancy, a not for profit organization that has dedicated its efforts to preserving our region's natural and historic heritage for over fifty years. Besides organizing membership activities, Sandra coordinates the Conservancy’s community outreach programs. She works with Heritage Conservancy’s knowledgeable staff, providing unique educational opportunities for both the business community and individual residents to learn about the Conservancy’s conservation efforts. From exploring the eerie sounds of the Quakertown Swamp to hiking in pristine forest habitats, to learning the importance of preserving our region’s historic structures, adults and children alike have fun as they learn the importance of conserving the beauty and history of our region’s communities.
